Event held February 20th from 4:45pm – 7pm in the Governance Room. All are welcome. Dinner will be served to all attendees. It’s going to be a great time, either apply or come out and watch!

SCOT SPIRIT DAY

Come find our table at Scot Spirit Day – this FRIDAY from 4-7pm located outside on the back patio of Lowry. We will have info about our first meeting and coming events for the year. We will also have a raffle for a gift card to Buffalo Wild Wings so stop by for a chance to win!!

Field Trip: Northeast Ohio Entrepreneur Expo

Several students from Launch will be traveling to Cleveland today for the Northeast Ohio Entrepreneur Expo. The expo is hosted annually by Jumpstart and other business incubators in the region. This is a great opportunity to see what is going on in the world of entrepreneurship. Join us!

Owner of The Parlor Restaurant, a local Wooster diner, will be speaking to Launch this Thursday. Join us in the Tartan Room at 7pm on Thursday night to hear about Mike’s experience owning the classic Wooster eatery.

DOUBLE TAKE

This Saturday, February 15th, will mark the second annual TEDxWooster event. TEDxWooster is an independently organized event in the spirit of TED. TED is a non-profit focused on technology, innovation and design, and the host of the popular TEDTalks series. TED allows individuals and groups to bring TED to their communities. TEDxWooster has been organized by Christina Haupt 14′ with the help of Launch. 9 different speakers, a student band, and a student vocalist have been invited to the TEDxWooster stage to give their perspectives on this year’s theme – Double  Take.

The event will be held in Freedlander Theater from 1:30pm – 6:30pm. There will be two breakout sessions during which attendees can participate in activities, network, talk with the speakers, and snack on food catered by Spoon Market. TEDxWooster is free and open to the public so join us!
