CoRE Talks FAQ

1. What is CoRE Talks?
Brief, inspiring, informative talks hosted in the CoRE. Talks are video recorded and shared online.CoRE Talks is supported by Launch: Entrepreneurship for every major, and funded by a Mellon grant through Academic Affairs.
2. Who is eligible to give a talk?
Every member of the College of Wooster community.
3. How frequently are CoRE Talks held?
Twice a semester. They will be held from 7 to 8:00pm on October 14th and November 18th, 2013.
4. How do I become a speaker?
An online application is available at http://launch.spaces.wooster.edu. Click on CoRE Talks.
5. What is involved in the application?
You will be asked to briefly describe a story or idea you would like to present.
6. What’s the benefit of being selected as a CoRE Talks speaker?
Practice expressing ideas to an audience, engage with the community, and become eligible to speak at TEDxWooster on Feb 15.
